Baby Phat RTW Spring 2009
This collections is one of the most creative and stylish I’ve seen…I love it!

Talk about hot Indian look! Both the above and below looks are so exotic and sexy! I would love to wear them or pieces from each outfit (if I dared) at least for one day! Perfect! Just perfect! I can’t say it enough! btw, doesn’t the girl on top look like a barbie!

The look above is so summer and so comfortable! I love the flow and relaxed feeling I get when I look at it. It makes me want to go on vacation!
This next outfit is a hot going out on the town look. I love how the accessories complete the look by adding the perfect flavor and the right amount of interest.

Look at that hot and classy green dress. It’s so lucious and a lovely shape!

Another native looking dress and with a little more class. Nice and simple with a patterned sleeve and belt to add interest.
A perfect finish…a lovely evening dress. Simple, sweet and sexy all wrapped into one!

I love and want it all!!!
Every wardrobe needs classic pieces… a simple dress in a neutral color, jeans, etc. However, a wardrobe without costume pieces is down right boring! Collect patterned, colorful, unique and trendy articles of clothing or accessories that mirror your taste and personality! Create an exciting and interesting wardrobe with a mix of trendy and classic. Remember, classic pieces don’t go out of style as fast, it takes about 10 years for a classic piece to start looking dated. Trendy and costume pieces can go out of style much faster. It’s always wise to start collecting the classic and then adding costume styles here and there. It’s fun discovering what you like and creating a unique wardrobe! Enjoy!
Bottega Veneta Resort Spring 2009
A breakdown of the dresses:

The above dress would be perfect for the Rectangular Figure…the pencil style skirt and roundness at the hips will add a hip shape to the otherwise hip-less body. The openness at the shoulders widens the upper body therefore creating a hourglass illusion on the rectangular shape.

This nicely patterned dress would be great on a Balanced Figure and also a Inverted Triangle Figure. Lets focus on the reasons why for the inverted triangle… the cut at the sleeves (or the sleeveless) and the neck break up the shoulder line making it appear smaller than it actually is. The shape of the skirt adds the illusion of hips making the body appear more in balance. BONUS: if you have a long neck the cut of the neckline will make your neck appear more average in length.
This orange and white dress would have to be for the Tubular Figure. The tubular body can get away with this sort of volume in the skirt and the tight top at the same time. Although I do have to say I think making the bustline higher would be more flattering.
The black number below is great for the Inverted Triangle Figure. The pockets on the hips adds volume creating a hip line.

This little black dress is for my kind of body type…the Triangular Figure. The sleeve shape and the wide neckline add width there balancing out the hips. The a-line shape of the skirt conceals the hips to appear smaller then they actually are.

I don’t know about you but I’m working on my butt! I want it to be toned, perky and smaller. So, periodically I will be posting new and excited butt exercises.
I am in a Biggest Loser contest with my cousins, siblings, parents, aunts and uncles. I’m in no way a big person…I do have a nice wide behind and big thighs! Don’t get me wrong I love my body (most of the time!) but sometimes I just crave a perfectly fit and toned body. I see it as a personal challenge. I’ve always dreamed of being a very active and adventurous person: kick boxing, dance, playing tennis, hiking, gymnastics, obstacle courses, snow boarding, skiing, sky diving, Etc. And just going from activity to activity all in a day…everyday. Just having that kind of energy and excitement for life is just so inspiring! I used to dance all the time as a teenager and now I exercise regularly. But, I want more activity! I also crave to be a super healthy eater…the kind that can live off of whole grains, lean meat, fresh fruit and veggies. Although, there is still a part of me that loves, just loves certain desserts (chocolate cake, chocolate, shakes, cookies) and foods (pasta’s, Mexican food, etc) that are fatty! I really like the philosophy of Paul McKenna “I Can Make You Thin”guy!!! And when I follow his philosophy (the stuff I do know about it) it works! I still plan on getting his book and really learning how to do it. But for the most part he teaches four main principles:
1-Eat when you are hungry. 2-Eat WHAT YOU WANT
3-Eat consciously 4-Stop when you are full.
It’s a really great concept and it’s worked for many people!
Sometimes I would just like to spend a week with active, healthy and adventurous people! Doing what they do and learning from them! I just want to get my butt kicked like that; during an adventurous, tiring week! If you are on the same journey for fitness, energy or just like the idea of it, then welcome to my world of personal DISCOVERY and come join the fun!
